The First Lady was given a tour of the home and the facilities. She was very impressed with the look of the environment and the cleanliness of the home.  Because the visit was unexpected, she found the home in its normal everyday state, which amazed her. She commented on how healthy the babies looked and appeared to be growing normally. She brought gifts (clothing) for the children and cash gifts for the staff.

After her short visit, she left feeling very impressed with CHIPROM and with an appreciation for the staff for a job well done.
